This Week at North Anderson

Hello North Anderson family and friends!

After being at the beach last week, it was a huge blessing to me to be back with our church family yesterday. There's nothing at all like gathering with our local church family. North Anderson truly is the friendliest church I've been in so continue to keep up the God-honoring and welcoming nature that makes North Anderson Baptist so special!

This week Pastor Kyle has the amazing opportunity to be the camp pastor at Camp McCall. Let's be praying for him as he shares God's Word with the staff and the students. Many lives have been changed at summer camp through the preaching of God's Word, whether it's salvation, surrender, or a call to ministry. Since there is no phone service at Camp McCall, Kyle will be unavailable so if you have any need, please contact the church office at 864-225-2575.

We’re looking forward to gathering again this Sunday for Bible Fellowship classes and continuing our “Good News” series during our corporate worship. Be praying this week for our worship service and consider who you can invite to hear the good news.

On Tuesday, our children's ministry is going on an outing to Callaham's Orchard in Belton. Parents and grandparents, bring your child for this fun event!

On Wednesday, we will have all of our normal Midweek Ministry activities as our Adult DiscipleU classes will continue our lessons from Revelation (chapter 2:12-17 this week) at 10:30am and 6:30pm and our RA’s, GA’s, Mission Friends will meet at 6:30pm. Also, our youth are going on a day trip to Helen, GA to go tubing and will be back in time for the Wednesday evening DiscipleU.

Our weekly Men’s Bible Study at Mama Penn’s will be held on Thursday morning at 7:00am, so men, come and join us!

A couple of upcoming events and opportunities to keep in mind:

June 12th - True North Student Ministry tubing trip to Helen
June 23rd-25th – Breaker Rock Vacation Bible School (we will have adult class too!)
July 6th – Ice Cream and Bluegrass (bring a churn of homemade ice cream to share and also enjoy a concert by the Mountain Highway band)

All of our events are featured on the “Event” tab of our website and also in the “Lighthouse” newsletter that’s online and printed in the foyer.

Also, please remember that if you’d like to place flowers in the church in honor / memory of someone, to commemorate a special occasion, or “just because” you like flowers, please contact Maddie at the Church office.

I thank God for each one of you and the privilege to serve you and with you and love each of you in Christ.

Grace, Peace, and Blessings,
Pastor Stephen
