Easter At North Anderson

Today, as we celebrate Easter, we often focus on the empty tomb — and rightfully so — but the resurrection was not the end of Jesus’ story. After rising from the dead, Jesus didn’t just linger on earth; He ascended into heaven, taking His rightful place at the Father’s side, exactly as He promised and exactly as Scripture foretold. His Ascension wasn’t an afterthought — it was the glorious completion of His earthly mission and the beginning of His heavenly reign. And the good news for us today is that Jesus isn’t distant or inactive. Right now, He is seated on the throne, His work of redemption finished, and yet His care for us continues as He intercedes for us, advocates for us, and invites us into relationship with Him. Easter isn’t just about what happened then — it’s about what’s happening right now!
