This Week At North Anderson
Hello North Anderson family!
We just wanted to remind you about all that we have going on this week at North Anderson so that you don't miss out!
We are on our regular mid-week schedule this week so be sure to join us on Wednesday for Adult DiscipleU Bible study at 10:30am or 6:30pm. We'll be diving into Revelation 21 this week and learning about Heaven so if you've ever had questions about what life will be like in the "Sweet by and by", be sure to join us!
Our Children's Ministry and True North Students will also be meeting at 6:30pm so be sure to get your kiddo's here for a great time of learning and fellowship with their peers.
We'd also LOVE to have you join our worship ministry and come to rehearsal on Wednesday's at 5:30pm in the Sanctuary.
The Men's Bible Study at Mama Penn's continues this Thursday morning at 7:00am and we'll continue our study of the Gospel of Mark.
On Friday, the True North Students will be heading to a Greenville Drive game. Please see Pastor Stephen for details.
We'll gather for Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am on Sunday and then continue our sermon series on the Ten Commandments at 10:30am. This week, we'll be covering the third commandment from Exodus 20:7, "Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God". We have a special treat this Sunday as our Pastor Emeritus, Bill Rigsby, will be preaching the sermon!
By the way, we'll be baptizing again this Sunday, and this ordinance is a beautiful picture of what the Gospel means so be sure to invite your lost friends and family to join us!

Vacation Bible Registration is open! All children 3 years old through rising 6th graders are welcome to join us. In order to guarantee a VBS T-Shirt, each child MUST be registered my May 1st (THIS Thursday!). You can register your children/grandchildren here on our website.
Speaking of registration, ladies, our Ladies Ministry will have their Cafe Extravaganza on May 16th. If you've not already registered, the deadline to do so is this Sunday. You can also register online for this event. If you'd rather do so in person, please see Susan Bryant or Stephanie McCollum by this Sunday to do so.
A final note: We'll be taking a small mission team to Pittsburgh again for a mission trip this summer. We'll once again be staying at the Warren Mission House and working with Randy and Pam Creamer. The majority of our time will be spent doing construction/painting at the mission house and we'll again spend some time with our church planting partner, Brent Phillips and Reclamation Church. The Mission trip dates are July 7th-11th. Space is limited for this trip so it is first come, first serve. Reach out to Pastor Kyle for additional details.

Prayer Focus for the week: Unreached Peoples of Timor-Leste (tee-more LESS-tay)
Today we will echo Paul's prayer for the Ephesian church, praying that the churches in Timor-Leste will be transformed through knowing Christ more deeply, and thus be aware of their task in fulfilling the Great Commission. As Paul writes, "[We] do not cease to give thanks for [them], remembering [them] in [our] prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give [them] the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that [they] may know what is the hope to which he has called [them], what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might…" (Ephesians 1:16-10). We pray that the churches in Timor-Leste will be inspired to share the hope of Christ with those living around them, that all will see evidence of His great power, and that the Global Church will grow in Timor-Leste.
