This Week @ North Anderson

Hello North Anderson family!

What a fantastic morning of worship we were blessed to share in yesterday at North Anderson Baptist! We kicked off our new sermon series through the book of Ruth and the Lord really moved in hearts and lives as we were reminded from the 1st chapter of how the Lord is at work, even in the difficult circumstances of life. Verse Of The Week:
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver them from them all” – Psalm 34:19

Prayer Point:
Identify an individual in your life who has developed a callous disposition towards the Gospel and ask the Lord to soften their heart and provide an opportunity to share the love of Christ with them.

Mission Moment:
September is the month when we receive the Janie Chapman Offering. In 1902, Janie Chapman became the first South Carolina Woman’s Missionary Union president, and she served for 22 years. She was said to be disciplined with inner strength and a gentle spirit. She glorified the Lord in her work.

The Janie Chapman Offering for State Missions was started and continues to be the driving force for missions happening throughout our state. Over 2,000 churches affiliate with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and cooperate in missions giving, missions discipleship, and missions support through the Start, Strong, Share, Send and Serve teams.
Every year, the Janie Chapman State Missions Offering helps South Carolina Baptists reach their lost neighbors, plant churches, send missionaries, serve communities in crisis, and much more.

You may give in-person on Sundays by designating your offering "Janie Chapman" of online here on our website. Check out this video about how the Janie Chapman Offering helps to plant new churches here in South Carolina!
