Wednesday – All regularly scheduled mid-week activities are happening this week with Adult DiscipleU Bible Study and Prayer at 10:30am or 6:30pm, as well as True North Student Ministry and Children’s Ministry at 6:30pm
Thursday – Men’s Bible Study at Mama Penn’s @ 7:00am
DMA Trip to Pretty Place - departing at 9:00am
Saturday – Bible Fellowship Teachers Brunch in the FLC at 9:30am
Sunday – Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am and Corporate Worship complete with Baptism at 10:30am

Following the morning worship service, we will have a pot-luck lunch in honor of Pastor’s Appreciation month. Please join us and bring a dish or dessert to share as we honor the Pastoral staff at North Anderson, Kyle, Stephen, and Matthew.
A note from Pastor Kyle: North Anderson family, I do want to say thank you to so many who have already shown Annette and I such kindness this month. I consider it a great joy and honor to serve as your Pastor. With that said, several have asked how they could best honor me this month and here’s my sincere request: If you’d like to bless me, make a Gideon Offering in my honor this Sunday. I can think of no better way to show me honor this month than by getting the Word of God, that I cherish so much, into the hands of as many people as possible, and that is what Gideons do!
ALSO – Many members of our church family have received an email with my name attached to it, asking them to contact them immediately to discuss a pressing matter. If one were to follow through with that request, the email would ask for money. This is a scam. I will never contact anyone through email asking for money to be sent to me.

Prayer focus: Students & Young Professionals, Seoul, South Korea
The university fall semester started at the beginning of September and is in full swing, which means that campus ministries have started again. Leadership of the English worship service at one of the universities has shifted from a missionary who is currently outside of Korea to a team made up of a Korean sister who was partnering in the ministry last semester, a Ugandan student who has been attending faithfully for the past four semesters, and a brand new Journeyman missionary who just arrived this month. Please pray for unity and friendship among this team of leaders, asking that they will work well together and keep their focus on Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit draws the right students to attend English worship from week to week, and that each week, there would be genuine encounters with Jesus and real friendship in the faith.
