This Week At North Anderson
Tuesday:
DMA Senior Adults Ministry will be held at noon in the Family Life Center. We’ll enjoy an “All American Summer” meal and hear a special presentation on gardening afterwards!
Wednesday:
Music Ministry rehearsal resumes this week at 5:30pm in the Sanctuary. We’d love for you to join in and need all hands on deck as we’ll be working on a presentation for this Sunday!
Join us for mid-week discipleship! Our Adult DiscipleU Bible Study will be held at both 10:30am and 6:30pm. We’ll be completing our study of the book of Revelation, so be sure to join us!
The North Anderson Children’s Ministry and True North Student Ministry will also be gathering at 6:30pm
Thursday:
The weekly Men’s Bible Study at Mama Penn’s continues at 7:00am
Friday:
It’s time for Café Extravaganza! Our Ladies Ministry has been hard at work preparing for this event and even if you are not attending, asks you to be in prayer for our speaker and for each lady who comes. The event begins at 6:30pm and is held in the Family Life Center
Sunday:
Join us for Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am and for worship at 10:30am as we continue our sermon series through the 10 Commandments by working our way through Exodus 20:12 and learning what it means to honor our fathers and mothers
Scripture For The Week:
“Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land” – Ephesians 6:2-4
Prayer Focus For The Week:
Intentional Prayer For Our Upcoming Vacation Bible School
Today – Pray for our outreach and marketing efforts, that word of VBS would make it into the homes of kids all over our community
Wednesday – Pray for our VBS Director, Ashley Rollins, that God would give her wisdom and strength to lead fruitfully and effectively
Thursday – Pray for safety throughout VBS
Friday – Pray for parents in our community to see the value of VBS in a child’s life and register their kids
Missions Giving Opportunity – One of our own, Zackery Carver, who is a student-athlete at Converse University, has been given the opportunity to serve with Fellowship Of Christian Athletes for a month this summer in India. Due to the travel and boarding cost, along with the length of the stay, it will be a costly mission trip. If the Lord leads you to support Zachery, you can give towards his trip through our church. Simply designate your gift, “Missions / India”.
