This Week At North Anderson
Hello North Anderson family and friends!
We wanted to take a moment to share with you all that's going on this week at North Anderson Baptist Church.
Wednesday: All of our regular Wednesday activities will continue with Adult DiscipleU Bible Study at 10:30am or 6:30pm. Before we jump into our study of the book of James, we'll do a four week, in depth Bible study on the Trinity. We'll unpack the character, nature and ministry of God the Father, the Son, and then the Holy Spirit before wrapping things up with a lesson on how the Godhead operates as the Trinity. This is a mysterious doctrine but a beautiful one. We pray that you'll join us for this helpful important mid-week Bible study.
Also on Wednesday, the North Anderson Children's Ministry will meet at 6:30pm and the True North Students will be canvassing our community at 6:30pm to help get the word out about Vacation Bible School.
Music Ministry rehearsal will be held in the Sanctuary at 5:30pm
Thursday: The Men's Bible Study will continue at 7:00am at Mama Penn's
Sunday: We'll gather for Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am and then continue our sermon series through the 10 Commandments with a sermon delivered by Pastor Kyle on Exodus 20:14, "Do Not Commit Adultery"
We will also be celebrating the Lord's Supper this Sunday as we begin our now monthly observance of communion.
Sunday evening at 6:00pm - WE BEGIN VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL! If you've yet to register your children or grandchildren, now is the time. You can do that right here on our website.
Verse For The Week: "Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the person who is sexually immoral sins against his own body" - 1 Corinthians 6:18
Prayer Focus For The Week: Vacation Bible School
Today - Pray for those leading the music each night and that the songs would cultivate in each child fertile soil so that the Gospel might take root
Wednesday - Pray for each child to leave this week of Vacation Bible School with a positive view of church that will continue with them throughout life
Thursday - Pray that parents who are on the fence about sending their child to Bible School will decide this week to send them
Friday - Pray that above all else, Christ is magnified in and through Vacation Bible School
Saturday - Pray for a celebrative, fun, Gospel-centered atmosphere throughout the week
Sunday - Pray for the opening ceremonies each night to set the tone for all that will be learned
