This Week at North Anderson

Hello North Anderson family!
We’ve got a great week in store and wanted to make sure that you had these events and opportunities marked on your calendars!
This Wednesday:
Beat the heat by joining us for an Ice Cream Social at 6:30pm in the Family Life Center! If you are able, please bring a churn or carton of your favorite flavor to share!
*There will be no regular mid-week ministry classes in the morning or evening*
On Thursday:
Our Men’s Bible Study at Mama Penn’s continues at 7:00am and the Cultural Christian Cohort at the Rydin’s will begin at 7:00pm
On Sunday:
After enjoying a wonderful 5th Sunday Bible Fellowship breakfast, we will resume Bible Fellowship Classes this week and then gather for worship in the Sanctuary at 10:30am, where we will recognize Religious Liberty Sunday (wear your red, white, and blue!), share in the Lord’s Supper, and continue our “Summer In The Psalms” series with a message from Pastor Kyle from Psalm 55.
Community Impact Opportunity:
We are hosting a “Backpack Day” to bless the kids of our community and church on Saturday, July 26th. We have 75 backpacks that we will be giving away and here is where we need your help: If you are able and feel so led, please give towards the Mission Fund. Our Missions Leadership Team will use what you give to fill the backpacks with necessary school supplies. While in years past, we have collected the supplies, the Missions Team feels that it collecting funds would be a better option as it allows them to purchase more uniformly and in keeping with specific guidelines issued by the schools.
Please make your contribution to the Missions Fund by July 20th (you can give toward the Mission Fund in person or online)

Verse for the week:
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken” – Psalm 55:22
Prayer Focus This Week: The Swazi (SWAH-zee) in Sub-Saharan Africa
Reconnecting with and encouraging their Swazi brothers and sisters in Christ is the aim of the volunteer team that’s headed to Eswatini in July. Some of the most meaningful ministries happen through simple conversations, shared meals, and worshiping together. Pray for the volunteers to be spiritually prepared to listen well, love deeply, and leave Swazi partners feeling seen, supported, and reminded that they are not forgotten. May the Swazi believers and volunteers “be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith” (Romans 1:12 ESV) through this ministry.
