Prayer Focus: The Northern African and Middle Eastern Unengaged Peoples
There are about 448,000 Doms of Egypt. These Domari-speaking people, who have been called Gypsies in the past, historically came from India. They live in the Nile Delta of Egypt. They have integrated into Egyptian society and are very hard to find. Though their heart language is Domari, they speak Arabic. They are Sunni Muslims. The Bible is available to them, as are videos about Jesus. There are very few believers in Christ among them. Pray that the Doms will hear about the Lord and talk about Him among their extended family. Like Cornelius in the Book of Acts, pray that whole households will come to faith and lead other households to the Savior.
