Happy Monday, North Anderson family and friends!

We’re looking forward to a wonderful week and wanted to keep you informed about all that’s going on!

Monday – Drive-Through-Nativity Initial Planning Meeting at 6:30pm in the children’s classroom

Wednesday – All regular mid-week classes and activities will continue this Wednesday with Children and Youth Ministries meeting at 6:30pm and Adult DiscipleU Bible Study at 10:30am or 6:30pm
*The morning DiscipleU session will be held in the Family Life Center as usual, but the evening session will now be held in the Sanctuary

Thursday – Men’s Bible Study at Mama Penn's (7:00am)

Sunday – We will gather for Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am and will continue our series, “Summer In The Psalms” at 10:30am with a message from Pastor Kyle from Psalm 32. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper this week, so prepare your heart for this worshipful occasion.
On Sunday evening at 5:00pm, we’ll be having a Prayer Meeting in the Sanctuary. Join us!
*Also, this Sunday is MOVE UP SUNDAY for our children and youth Bible Fellowship Classes. All children and youth should come first to the Family Life Center.

Speaking of Sundays...with our growing Children's Ministry, we're really needing help with Children's Church. Would you pray about serving in this way? You'd be getting to hang out with some incredible kids and it's no more than a once-a month-commitment. Please connect with Maddie at the office if you could serve.

Verse for the week: “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sin is covered” – Psalm 32:1

Prayer Focus This Week: Churches, Pastors, and Missionaries to Japan
Like many churches in Japan, most members of Okubo Baptist Church in Tokyo are aging. The believers there know that unless they are joined by a new generation, the future of the church could be cloudy. Young missionaries presented the idea of having an Easter egg hunt to their pastor. He enthusiastically agreed, and many church members joined in to help with the preparations, as did other missionary families. Stepping out in faith, about 1,500 eggs were prepared. As the event in a park near the church drew near, the weather forecasted rain every day during the week of the event, except the day of the event. The weather was perfect. Praise the Lord that 85 children participated, representing about 60 families. The good news was boldly proclaimed in the sunshine and all participants received gospel tracts explaining the meaning of Easter and inviting them to church on Easter Sunday. Lift up the Tokyo Team as they follow up with these Japanese friends. Ask that these seeds will to lead to the salvation of entire families. Pray that churches will be filled with a new generation of children who will grow up in the faith!

UPCOMING EVENT: Our annual Labor Day Weekend At The Lake will be held on Sunday, August 31st at Darwin Wright Park at 5:00pm

We’ll be doing our Labor Day Weekend event a little differently this year so please take note. In a intentional effort to better serve our church family as a whole, instead of having our morning service at the lake, our Church Council made the decision to have our regular service at the church and then host a picnic supper and baptisms at Darwin Wright Park at 5:00pm!

Please bring sides to share, a chair to sit in, and friends to accompany you!
